Using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Concrete Scanning, commonly referred to as concrete Xray is used to find accurate location and depth of objects in concrete such as, Post Tension cables, structural steel, and services such as Power & Water before penetrating the concrete. Other applications include,Void Detection, Checking for slab thickness and investigating whether the concrete slab or wall contains structural steel for future planning or demolition. SERVICE LOCATING
Using electromagnetic locators Service locating also known as Utility Locating provides the ability to accurately locate services such as,Power Cables, Metallic Pipes, Cables &Copper Gas,Water and Phone lines. PVC and Concrete pipes are also locatable providing there is an access point to insert a metallic tracing rod into the pipe or the service has been buried with a metallic tracer wire or tape.
